Kat Laitner

I grew up in Miami and played at Sunset High School, where I earned All-Dade honors while competing on highly competitive travel teams. I continued my career at Seminole State College, earning 2nd Team All-Conference before an injury ended my time on the field.

That experience is a big part of why I coach the way I do today. I’m passionate about teaching pitchers the correct mechanics so they can perform at a high level while avoiding pain and injury.

I went on to finish my degree at the University of Florida, where my coaching journey began. After returning to South Florida, I coached at my alma mater, gave private pitching lessons, and worked with pitchers who went on to compete at the collegiate level, including D1. I also served as an Assistant Athletic Director at the high school where I taught.

After moving my family to Central Florida, I founded KatsKZone, which has grown into a trusted training environment for pitchers looking to develop both physically and mentally.

I am Foster Fastpitch Certified, Pauly Girl Certified, and MPE Certified, and I’m committed to continuing my education to better serve my athletes.
